When a fellow medium-sized business reached out and asked us to help them achieve their Cyber Essentials accreditation, we couldn't believe what they had been through with some of our competitors.

They had been trying to achieve the certification for several months, but received very little information or support from their original choice of company. They failed the online assessment, but were given very little information as to why, making it difficult to know what changes they needed to make.

By the time this company approached us, they were starting to panic. As a member of the Ministry of Defence's supply chain, they needed to achieve Cyber Essentials to keep their contract and were running out of time.

Their staff had very little IT knowledge and had outsourced their network support. They lacked the confidence and understanding to question their support company and to get their network into a secure state that would meet the criteria.

We provided consultancy services which took a complete IT novice and turned them into someone with a secure understanding of the standards expected of the company, allowing them to regain control over their computer network.

Not only were they able to continue working with the MOD, but the extra accreditation put them head and shoulders above their competitors.

They passed the questionnaire first time, as well as achieving the IASME Governance standard. They now have a secure network, but more importantly, they adhere to best practice in physical security, staff awareness and data backup.

The transformation which we oversaw makes this one of our most successful partnerships. It was made possible by the hard work of this company, which has now established itself as a safe pair of hands that their clients can trust completely.
